Computing
In Computing, we introducing our children to the foundational principles of logic, creativity, and digital safety. Children begin their journey into Computer Science by learning what algorithms are-simple, step-by-step instructions-and applying this knowledge to create and debug basic programs on devices like floor robots. Beyond programming, the curriculum emphasizes Information Technology, where pupils learn to use purposeful tools to create, organise, and store digital content, such as text, images, and sounds. Underpinning all these technical skills is Digital Literacy, which ensures that even our youngest learners understand how to use technology safely and respectfully, recognising the importance of keeping personal information private and knowing how to seek help when something online feels uncertain.
